Jonathan Jacoby

Jonathan is director of the Task Force on the Nexus of Antisemitism & Israel in American Politics at the Knight Program in Media and Religion at USC’s  Annenberg School. For the past 40 years, he has been deeply involved in advocacy and policy related to Israel. He was one of the first to serve as a full-time professional of an American Jewish organization concerned with promoting Jewish-Arab coexistence and advancing Israeli democracy; he was the founding director of both New Israel Fund and of Israel Policy Forum and served as president of Americans for Peace Now.  Jonathan has also served as Sr. Vice President for Programs for Jewish Life at the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and is a principal organizer of SOAR (Support Of Accelerated Research), a collaborative research & development model that he helped develop with a group of scientists and parents.
