Rabbi Adam Chalom

Rabbi Adam Chalom, PhD, is Dean for North America of the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism (IISHJ) and Rabbi of Kol Hadash Humanistic Congregation in suburban Chicago. He holds degrees in Jewish Studies from Yale University and the University of Michigan and was ordained by the IISHJ in 2001. Rabbi Chalom has studied in, visited, led tours to and participated in conferences in Israel and the West Bank several times. He has Jewish family roots in Aleppo, Lithuania, and Ukraine and is competent in Hebrew, French, and Spanish.
