Laurie Osher

Laurie Osher, PhD. is in her 3rd term in Maine House of Representatives. She is a Community Resilience Specialist, Soil Scientist and Entrepreneur and was previously an Academic Researcher and Federal Government Scientist. She serves on the board of A Wider Bridge and of the Maine Jewish Film Festival and has served as a board member of Congregation Beth El of Bangor Maine. As a teen, she lived and worked on Kibbutz Yotvata in the Arava. She visited Israel again as a member of the Arava Institute’s Science Advisory Board (2000) and with A Wider Bridge (2022).
